To start off there are 4 elements in the world. Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. For every element there was a nation for it. Each nation had people who could bend each element they are in and can move the element anyway they want. However so no element could become superior, there was one person called the Avatar. The Avatar mastered all elements and could bend them all. When the world needed the Avatar the most though he vanished. People thought that the Avatar had died but they questioned why he didn't come back. You see when the Avatar died it he was reincarnated into the next nation as a different person. The Avatar was supposed to be reincarnated into the Air Nomads, but people believe that he was never born or that he died with all the other Airbenders who were killed by the Fire nation. However a girl Katara who is in a water tribe in the South Pole hasn't lost hope. She believes somehow the Avatar will return to save the world. </p><p>If you haven't seen this show yet I suggest you start watching. Remember its on Nickelodeon. New Episodes premiere every Friday at 8:00pm EST. Repeats are on weekdays at 6:30pm EST.
